The key to the perfect vacation wardrobe is a mix of comfortable, versatile and chic to take you from day to night and everywhere in between. This season’s bright, bold palettes and flashy accessories make packing for summer vacation a breeze!

Here’s a list of our Jet Set Style must-haves to help add some glamour to your summer holidays!
1. A long summer dress that is casual enough for the daytime but night appropriate as well, like this one from Canadian Jeremy Laing.
2. Fun and colourful statement accessories like this bold necklace from 3.1 Phillip Lim, bright orange fabric bangles from Dorothy Perkins, woven Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet, and lemon yellow clutch from American Apparel..
3. The perfect pair of summer shades, we love these black rounded flat tops from Topshop.
4. The Alex platform espadrilles from Stuart Weitzman keep you beach or city chic!
5. A bright coloured swimsuit and summer striped beach bag for a day of lounging by the water – our picks are the Jil Sander Striped Market Tote and the DSquared2 Christina Swimsuit from ssense.com

My need to teeter on heels on a daily basis has led to a truly unhealthy obsession. In fact, I have toes that rival a ballerina dancers’. Thankfully, I can give my poor feet a break with the season’s latest “it” shoe: the loafer. The 2011 variations pack some serious punch with high fashion style, versatility, and of course, comfort. Pair loafers with everything from trousers and shorts to flirty dresses and drapey silhouettes. Check out a few of my favourite loafers for spring:

1. Go for an androgynous look with a classic loafer in a menswear-inspired shape with a touch of hardware. Stuart Weitzman loafers ($345), available at Browns Shoes.
2. Look for fun prints and tassel details for a unique look. My pick are these animal print moccasins from Zara ($39.99).
3, 4. Bright coloured loafers are a great way to add a pop of colour to your ensemble. Dolce Vita Marcela ($64.95) and Jeffrey Campbell Dunsmore ($124.95), available at Solestruck.
5, 6. Unique features like perforations and textured materials create a look that is spring and summer friendly. Aldo Eda penny loafers ($80) and New Kid Laser Cut Loafers ($149), from Urban Outfitters.

Stuart Weitzman Clog at Brown's $418

The word clog may conjure up visions of little Dutch girls sporting braids and a pinafore or free-spirited hippies getting in the groove at Woodstock. If you’ve been paying any attention to recent runway trends however, you’ll notice that the clog has re-emerged as this season’s must-have shoe, and it’s had a makeover. The clog circa 2010 is a sleeker, studded, more modern breed than the ones of the past. The verdict is in: clogs are cool. Paired just as easily with a sundress as with jeans, the style will prove a versatile addition to your wardrobe. Look for modern updates like edgy hardware or studded detailing. Keeping them in a neutral tone will prevent them from appearing over-the-top, and you’ll also be playing into another huge trend this Spring, the nude shoe. Michael Kors, Miu Miu and Chanel all paired their Spring designs with clogs, and hey, if it’s good enough for Karl, I’m onboard.

Top to bottom: Aldo Nude Gualuski ($100), Jeffery Cambell for Free People ($150), Banana Republic ($120), Chanel (style.com)Aldo Cognac Finnell ($100), Stuart Weitzman from Browns ($418)
