The latest PYT to take the fashion and beauty world by storm, Emma Watson is adding another designer collaboration to her impressive list of credentials (including her recently-announced gig as the face of Lancôme). The Harry Potter star flaunts her eco-friendly fashion savvy with Pure Threads, a capsule collection featuring sustainable cotton and hemp that she co-designed with Italian powerhouse Alberta Ferretti. The five pieces range in price from $345 to $1,173 and will be available at albertaferretti.com on March 21.

With several mammoth designer collaborations already under its belt (Stella McCartney and Jeremy Scott, anyone?), adidas has teamed up with Diesel for a second venture. This time around they’re doing what adidas does best: stylish sneakers, with that signature Diesel sex appeal.

You’ll definitely want to be first in line for these limited editions – only 10,000 pairs were produced worldwide. Available starting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 27 at Diesel stores in Montreal (2114 rue de la Montagne, 514-845-4335) and Toronto (92 Yorkville Ave., 416-968-3335), impossible is nothing when it comes to scoring this summer’s coolest kicks.

KaryPerryThomasSabo

Alongside her infectious pop songs, Katy Perry is best known for her unique – and often risky – style. While the saucy songstress has landed herself on quite a few fashion don’t lists over the years, she’s just been announced as the exclusive brand ambassador for Thomas Sabo, a definite do.

You’ll remember our coverage of Thomas Sabo last August when we raved about their fall collection. Turns out Mrs. Russell Brand is a fan too: “I’m excited to make things pop for Thomas Sabo. I’m such a fan of all things cute and collectible. I like the charm club the best because I get to make it my own.”

While we’ve heard unconfirmed rumblings of a Thomas Sabo boutique opening in Toronto, you can visit ThomasSabo.com to find a Canadian retailer near you.

Andy

One of Canada’s favourite designers, Andy Thê-Anh, has been appointed as chief designer for Quebec-based active wear line Lolë. This is exciting news for the designer and his fans, as his company suffered a couple of set backs in 2010 which eventually led to Thê-Anh having to close shop.

We can’t wait to see what influence the renowned formal wear designer will have on Lolë’s activewear collection, félicitations Andy!
