Fashion’s Night OUT! Vancouver

“They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.” Andy Warhol’s quote beautifully embodies the work that organizations like Out in Schools promote. In a time when homophobia and bullying have led to recent tragic events, people are speaking out and taking action. Out in Schools uses film to create awareness about homosexuality and bullying.

The V Lounge at Earls Yaletown recently provided the backdrop for Fashion’s Night OUT! as locals came together in the name of style and solidarity. FNO was an effort to raise funds for Out in Schools while showcasing spring runway looks. The Bay Downtown Vancouver’s White Space showed clothes with gorgeous feminine silhouettes, fun prints, a little bit of retro and touches of sparkle. The hottest accessory of the night? Carrying your pride on your shoulder.
